Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-16. This policy covers TaskGlot, a Telegram-based task and accountability assistant.

Alpha notice — read first

TaskGlot is an early-access (“alpha”) test, provided free and as is. 100% of this software was written by AI and has not been line-by-line audited by a human. We take no responsibility for your data or for any outcome of using the service. Do not store sensitive or important information in it. When the service moves beyond alpha — including any operating company and formal data-protection terms — this policy will be updated.

What we process

  • Telegram identifiers: your Telegram user id, and your name/username as provided by Telegram, to identify you and show who is assigned to or acting on a task.
  • Task content: task titles, descriptions, comments, checklists, due dates, tags, and status you or your team enter.
  • Photos and files: images and documents you attach to a task or update.
  • Profile information (optional): if your organization uses employee profiles, the contact, emergency-contact, and identity details you (or an authorized admin) enter. Sensitive identity fields are encrypted at rest and are only collected after you give in-app consent.
  • Preferences: your chosen interface/content language.

Why we process it

We process this data only to provide the task tool your group chose to use, and — where you give in-app consent — for sensitive profile/identity fields and content translation. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Where it is stored

  • Task content and identifiers are stored in a MongoDB database on the operator’s infrastructure.
  • Photos and files are stored in object storage (MinIO) on the operator’s infrastructure. Original uploads are retained; reduced display/thumbnail variants are generated for images.

Translation (optional, admin-enabled)

If a group’s admin enables content translation, task and comment text from that group is sent to the language-model endpoint configured by the operator in order to translate it. That endpoint may be a third-party service. Translation is off unless an admin turns it on.

Website analytics

The public website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits and traffic sources. It sets no cookies and collects no personal data or cross-site identifiers.

Who can see your data

Members and admins of a group can see that group’s tasks and the associated content and identifiers, consistent with how the board and Mini App present them. Profile data is visible only to you and to authorized administrators of your organization. The operator’s administrators may access data to run and support the service.

Third parties

  • Telegram delivers the bot and Mini App and processes messages per Telegram’s own privacy policy.
  • The configured language-model provider (only when translation is enabled), as above.
  • Hosting/infrastructure providers used to operate the service.

Retention

Tasks remain until deleted by an authorized user; completed tasks are archived in the app after a window but retained. Group completion cards are cleaned from the chat on a schedule. Deleted tasks are soft-deleted (hidden) and may be retained for a period before purging. Profile data is retained while your organization uses the service.

Your choices

You can change or remove your data through the app, or stop using the service at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact the operator through the support channel published with the app. Because this is an unpaid alpha, do not store anything in the service that you cannot afford to lose.

Contact

Privacy enquiries and data requests: contact the operator through the support channel published with the app.
