About TaskGlot

A Telegram task bot for multilingual teams, built in 2026.

Who built it

TaskGlot was built by Max Tereshko, a software developer working with multilingual teams in Southeast Asia. It was designed and shipped in 2026 through agentic coding — directing AI coding agents (Claude Code and Antigravity, among others) to design, implement, test and review the product, rather than a traditional hand-written codebase or a large team.

Why it exists

Teams in hospitality, construction, logistics and similar industries often manage staff across Thai, Burmese, Khmer, Lao and other languages — all coordinating inside Telegram. Task instructions get lost in translation, accountability slips, and managers spend time chasing status across group chats.

TaskGlot addresses that specific problem: assign a task once, have every team member read it in their own language, and let the bot handle reminders and escalation until the work is done.

What it does

  • Assigns tasks inside a Telegram group to named team members.
  • Auto-translates every task and reply into each worker's own language (12 languages as of 2026).
  • Sends reminders and escalates overdue tasks to the manager.
  • Requires photo proof before marking a task done, when configured.
  • Supports recurring tasks (daily, weekly, custom cadence).
  • Shows the full team board in a Telegram Mini App — no separate install.

Status

TaskGlot launched as a public alpha in 2026 under the TaskGlot brand at https://taskglot.com. It is free to use during the alpha period. No credit card is required.
